How to study the tall plant? |
Academic History: Ph.D. in Biology, Department of Biology and Biochemistry, University of Houston, Houston TX, 2011. M.S. in Plant Ecology, Department of Plant Biology and Ecology, Nankai University, Tianjin, P. R. China, 2005 B.S. in Ecology and Environmental Science, Department of Ecology and Environmental Science, Inner Mongolia University, Hohhot, P. R. China, 2002 Research Interests: For my postdoc I am examining the consequences of mangrove invasion into salt marsh habitats on the Texas coast. My Ph.D. research focused on examining the factors that mediate the distribution of plants along the freshwater-salt water gradient of estuaries at the GCE-LTER site in Georgia, and how these factors simultaneously mediate plant productivity and diversity.
