Advising Programs Laboratory Instruction Undergraduate Research Scholarships
Students majoring in one of the disciplines offered by the
Department of Biology and Biochemistry are advised in the College of
Natural Sciences and Mathematics Undergraduate Advising Center.
The Department of Biology and Biochemistry offers B.S. and B.A. degrees in Biology and in Biochemical and Biophysical Sciences and a
B.S. in Mathematical Biology administered jointly with the Mathematics
Department.
The department offers laboratory courses covering a range of disciplines and methodologies.
By participating in research, undergraduates can better prepare for their future and gain skills beyond those acquired in a classroom or teaching lab.
Students are encouraged to explore scholarships offered by the department, the college, and the university.
